A notice will be issued during the final week of December announcing the date to call for nominations for Local Government elections, the National Election Commission said today (08).
The nominations will be called for as per the provisions of the Local Authorities Elections (Amendment) Act, according to the Commission.
The decision has been taken during a meeting by members of the Election Commission today (Dec. 08), the Election Commission said.
