Reports indicate that the notorious criminal and drug trafficker, known as Podi Lassi, has been arrested in Mumbai, India. Podi Lassi, who is also linked to underground gang activities, had previously been considered one of the most ruthless figures in the southern underworld.
Despite being a key figure in organized crime, Podi Lassi had been released on bail earlier on January 9th. Following his release, he made his way to Colombo, travelling in a luxury vehicle. However, since then, there have been no further reports regarding his whereabouts.
Security agencies have raised concerns that Podi Lassi, along with another notorious figure, “Kudu Salindu,” may have fled the country in secret.
