Media Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa announced today (4) that the list of individuals and entities who obtained bar licenses under the previous government will be presented to Parliament this afternoon.
The Minister made this statement in response to a question raised by MP Shanakiyan Rasamanickam during today’s parliamentary session.
Dr. Jayatissa further stated that investigations into the matter have already commenced. The move aims to ensure transparency and accountability regarding the issuance of bar licenses.
