A 12-year-old boy, Sasnula Sehansa Lakmal, has made history by setting a world record using 1,200 Rubik’s cubes to create a portrait of Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake. The feat was completed in 3 hours, 13 minutes, and 7 seconds.

Sasnula, the eldest son of Sergeant E. Lakmal of the Sri Lanka Army, achieved this remarkable milestone at the Ranaviru Apparel swimming complex in Yakkala yesterday (December 3, 2024).

The achievement highlights his extraordinary talent and the supportive environment fostered within the Sri Lanka Army. It is a proud moment for the country, showcasing Sri Lankan ingenuity on a global stage.
