Journalist Maduka Thaksala was attacked last night by an unidentified gang and left him on the road. Complaint has been made to Negombo police for further investigations and when we inquired from the police about the updates the Officer in Charge informed us further investigation process has already been started.
Journalist Madhuka Thaksala had already been a victim of an attack of this nature before in 2019 December. The attack took place inside the Lake House building.
That was when Mr.Gotabhaya Rajapakse assumed duties as President of Sri Lanka.
